"I believe intense, consistent physical exercise to be the single most important discipline I have engaged in over last 19 months. Discipline in this area has caused a ripple effect in every significant area of my life.

In 2010, after nearly five months of a sedentary lifestyle, I exercised at least 30 minutes per day every day for 78 days straight. Since that time I have maintained a minimum of 45 minutes per day, five days a week. Somewhere along the way I registered for my first Tough Mudder. I completed three in 2011. It changed my life.
