What are you building? by Doug Grady

"If you build it, they will come."

Today is the launch date for my first ever mission trip. 12 men including myself will be building 9 pre-fabricated houses in the slums of Guayaquil, Ecuador. In preparation this exciting excursion it occurred to me that life is a building process. In business, in our relationships, and in our character we are constantly building something. Consider taking a moment today to become conscious of what you are currently constructing.

congrats on the mission trip Doug. I had the opportunity to participated in a similar project in Guatemala a few years ago. It was very rewarding on a personal level to be able to make a real difference to families. We built brick ovens in the huts of Mayan families. It was also an eye opener! We take much for granted living here in the USA. We are fortunate and privileged to be here and to have the chance to get up every day with great opportunities in front of us for the taking! I found the people I helped truly amazing individuals and I am anxious to be able to do more in the future for others! Good Luck!
